Help Restore History!
All Star Sports has taken on the task of restoring Billy Hebert Field to it's prime. All Star has big plans on the restoration and beautification of this historic facility. By operating this historic site All Star will be able to expand it's scope of services, elevate it's training capabilities and have the space to offer some great community oriented events. All Star is teaming up with USSSA and NCTB to offer great tournaments each weekend. All Star will also fix up and maintain Dodie Healy and Kay Coe baseball/softball diamonds across from the tennis courts at Oak Park. We are looking forward to this adventure!

History of Billy Hebert Field:
- Baseball was played as early as 1890 at Oak Park
- 1927 Oak Park Field was constructed
- In 1950 the field was named for Billy Hebert who learned to play baseball in Stockton and was team captain for Karl Ross American Legion. Hebert was a scrappy second baseman in the minor leagues before, at 22, he was killed in the Solomon Islands in 1942 during World War II. He was the nation's first professional ballplayer killed in action.
- Billy Hebert Field was once home to both the Stockton Ports and University of Pacific Baseball Teams
